Kimetsu no Yaiba 3rd Anniversary Update: Live Performance And "Full Concentration Breathing" Exhibition For The Latest Arcs In April
Concerning the third anniversary of Demon
Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, it was announced that major voice actors of the
series will perform live dubbing and recitation at the event stage in Chiba
City on the 16th and 17th of April for the Entertainment District and Infinite
Train arcs, respectively. This includes voice actors like Natsuki Hanae, Akari
Kito, Hiro Shimono, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Katsuyuki Konishi, and Satoshi Hino.
In addition, various illustrations for the anime will be exhibited, and even
the infinite train will make an appearance.
According to the Japanese news website
MANTANWEB, the exhibition "Full Concentration Exhibition-Infinite Train
Arc/Yuukaku Arc" will be held from April 20th at Matsuya Ginza 8th Floor
Event Square (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), though an official announcement has yet to be
made. The exhibition will showcase the ferocious battles between the Demon
Slayer Corps and Muzan Kibutsuji’s demons by entering the world of Infinite
Train and the Entertainment District. Kyojuro Rengoku’s sword, Purgatory
Anjuro, will be exhibited as well.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a
Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It follows
teenager Tanjiro Kamado, who strives to become a demon slayer after his family
was slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko turned into a demon. It was
serialized in Shueisha's Shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February
2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected into twenty-three tankōbon
volumes. It has been published in English by Viz Media and simultaneously
published by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform. A 26-episode anime
television series adaptation produced by Ufotable aired in Japan from April to
September 2019. A sequel film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie:
Mugen Train, was released in October 2020 and became the highest-grossing anime
film and Japanese film of all time. A second season of the anime series,
readapting the Mugen Train arc seen in the film, premiered in October 2021. The
new anime TV Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku Hen is being broadcast on Fuji TV
every Sunday at 16:15 GMT.
